A Church with a Heart for People...and a Vision for Families.

Westwinds is a newly established independent baptist church, currently meeting on Sunday mornings at Valley Vista High School in Surprise, Arizona. Since we are a developing church, there are positions available in which one can assist in this ministry and challenging new opportunities to serve the Lord. We are currently pursuing a nearby facility in order to expand our ministry to include Sunday and Wednesday night services.

O U R   M I S S I O N The mission of Westwinds Baptist Church is to promote the furtherance of the Gospel of Jesus Christ by: EDIFYING Christians through the preaching, teaching, and studying of God's Word. ENCOURAGING believers in their daily spiritual walk through prayer, comfort, and fellowship. EVANGELIZING the unsaved through evangelical services, outreach programs, evangelistic-oriented ministries, and missionary programs. EXALTING God through corporate praise and worship, encouraging and helping believers to maintain a godly testamony, and by doing good works EXPRESSING the love of God toward people through benevolence-oriented ministries, works of kindness, and acts of generosity. O U R   V I S I O N Our vision is for Westwinds Baptist Church to be: A God exalting and Christ honoring church in pursuit of spiritual excellence. A Gospel lighthouse in the City of Surprise and the adjacent communities that proclaims God's love and Christ's finished work of redemption. A diverse community of believers that melds together the experience and expertise of mature Christians with the enthusiasm and energy of the young.
